TL;DR: Bathroom & Shower Cleaner is designed for bathrooms. It is safe on sealed tiles, grout, glass, chrome, taps, basins, bathtubs, acrylic and fibreglass shower trays, and most bathroom fixtures. It is not food-grade, so use Kitchen Grease & Oil Cleaner or Universal Cleaner for kitchen worktops and food-prep surfaces. Spot test natural stone. Avoid unfinished timber and aftermarket glass coatings.

Are there any surfaces I should avoid cleaning with Bathroom & Shower Cleaner?

Avoid Bathroom and Shower Cleaner on food prep surfaces, because it is not food-grade. Avoid unfinished or untreated timber. Avoid natural stone without a spot test, because marble, travertine and limestone can react to cleaners. Avoid aftermarket glass coatings or tint films. Avoid any surface where the manufacturer specifies not to use water-based foam cleaners. How do I spot test a surface?

Choose a hidden area of the surface, such as behind a cistern, under a shelf or inside a cabinet. Spray a small amount of Bathroom and Shower Cleaner, wipe with a clean cloth, and wait a few minutes. Check for colour change, dullness, etching or softening before treating the visible surface. If anything looks off, do not proceed. This is especially important for natural stone, older glass coatings, and any surface you are not sure about.
