Hand wash with warm soapy water, never the dishwasher. Soft food-grade silicone with an antimicrobial coating and an anti-static oil finish. Made in China.

How do I fit a Bottle Bumper?

Dry the outside of the bottle so the silicone grips, then stretch the bumper opening with both thumbs and slide it over the base of the Atomiser Spray Bottle or Foaming Spray Bottle, working it up until it sits flush. Twist the bumper so the colour faces forward for easy identification at the sink. If it is hard to fit, a little soapy water or a damp cloth helps it slide on.

Four steps to fit

1

Dry the outside of the bottle. A clean, dry surface helps the silicone grip.

2

Stretch the bumper. Hold the opening with both thumbs and gently widen it.

3

Slide it over the base. Start at the bottom edge of the Atomiser Spray Bottle or Foaming Spray Bottle and work the bumper up until it sits flush.

4

Twist to align. Rotate the bumper so the colour faces forward and you can spot the right cleaner at a glance.

✓ Bumper hard to put on?

Stretch the bumper gently before placing it on the bottle. Apply a small amount of soapy water, or rub it with a damp cloth, to help it slide. Start from one side and slowly work it around for an even fit.

What does each colour mean?

Each Bottle Bumper colour matches a cleaner so there is no second-guessing at the sink. Yellow pairs with Kitchen Grease and Oil Cleaner, blue with Bathroom and Shower Cleaner, green with Universal Cleaner, and purple with Stain Remover. Koh designed the bumpers to help you identify the contents of your Atomisers and Foamers at a glance.

How do I clean and care for Bottle Bumpers?

Wash Bottle Bumpers regularly by hand with warm soapy water and air-dry them completely before refitting. The antimicrobial coating helps resist bacteria, mould and mildew, and the anti-static oil finish repels dust and lint. Do not put them in the dishwasher. Avoid bleach, harsh solvents and abrasive cleaners, keep the bumper away from sharp objects, and store it in a cool, dry place out of prolonged direct sunlight.

✓ Hand wash only

Wash regularly by hand with warm soapy water and air-dry completely before refitting on the bottle. The antimicrobial coating helps resist bacteria, mould and mildew, so a quick wash keeps the bumper fresh between uses. The anti-static oil finish repels dust and lint, so it needs cleaning less often than you might expect.

⚠ What to avoid

No dishwasher. No bleach, harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, since these degrade the silicone. Keep the bumper away from sharp objects that could nick it, avoid stretching it excessively, and store it in a cool, dry place out of prolonged direct sunlight.

No dishwasher No bleach No abrasives Out of direct sun

✓ Stains that will not shift

For stubborn marks, scrub gently with a soft brush or soak the bumper in warm water before washing again. Silicone does not stain permanently the way plastic can.

My bumper feels loose. What do I do?

Make sure the bottle is completely dry before attaching the bumper, since moisture stops the silicone gripping. If it still feels loose, warm the bumper briefly under hot, not boiling, tap water to improve its flexibility and grip, then refit it to a dry bottle. Bumpers grip by stretch alone, with no adhesive.

✓ Dry the bottle, then warm the bumper

Make sure the bottle is completely dry first, since moisture stops the silicone gripping. If the bumper still feels loose, warm it briefly under hot, not boiling, tap water to restore its stretch, then refit it. Bumpers hold by stretch alone, with no adhesive, so a dry surface does most of the work. More on fit in Bottle Bumper dimensions and fit.
