How do I use Ultra Pro Cloth?Updated 3 days ago

TL;DR: Use Ultra Pro Cloth dry after your usual clean, to wipe down, polish and absorb leftover moisture in one pass. Swipe in smooth overlapping strokes, fold to a fresh section as it dampens, and surfaces come up streak-free, lint-free and dry. Best on glass, worktops, mirrors, tiles and stainless steel.

How do I use Ultra Pro Cloth?

Use Ultra Pro Cloth dry after your usual clean. Finish wiping, scrubbing, rinsing or squeegeeing the surface, then run the dry cloth over it in smooth overlapping passes to soak up the moisture. Fold or flip to a fresh dry section as it dampens, and the surface is left dry, dust-free and streak-free in a single pass.

Step by step

1

Finish cleaning first. Wipe, scrub, rinse or squeegee the surface with your usual Koh clean. Leave the surface wet.

2

Swipe with a dry cloth. Run Ultra Pro Cloth over the surface in smooth, overlapping passes. The dense, super-absorbent microfibre soaks up moisture instantly.

3

Fold or flip as you go. When one side feels damp, fold the cloth or flip to a fresh section so you are always wiping with a dry panel.

4

Done. Surfaces are left dry, dust-free, streak-free and polished.

✓ Why it works

The dense 1000 GSM microfibre traps fine dirt and dust while soaking up water, so a single pass leaves surfaces spotless and streak-free. A nano-silver treatment in the fibres keeps the cloth fresher between washes. Full spec in what the cloth is made from.

Should I use Ultra Pro Cloth dry or damp?

Use it dry as the primary method, after cleaning, to dry and polish glass, mirrors, worktops, tiles and stainless steel. For lighter duty, lightly dampen it with water for quick fingerprint wipe-downs, dust pickup or freshening surfaces between full cleans. Wring it out well so it is damp rather than soaking.

What surfaces does Ultra Pro Cloth work best on?

Ultra Pro Cloth works best on glass and mirrors such as shower screens, windows and splashbacks; on worktops and stainless steel including polished stone, laminate and appliances; and on tiles and painted surfaces. The lint-free, non-scratch microfibre dries and polishes to a streak-free finish without marking delicate surfaces.

✓ Glass and mirrors

Shower screens, windows, splashbacks and bathroom mirrors. Dries and polishes to a spotless finish without streaks or lint.

✓ Tiles and painted surfaces

Bathroom tiles, kitchen splashbacks and painted cabinetry. The lint-free, non-scratch design keeps delicate finishes safe. In the bathroom, it is the natural partner to Ultra Pro Bathroom Mitt, which does the scrubbing while the cloth does the drying.

Why is the cloth dragging instead of gliding?

The surface is too dry. Microfibre needs a little liquid to lubricate the pile, so apply a bit more cleaner or water and the loop pile will grip and move smoothly. Make sure there is enough product on the area to let the cloth move. It should be lubricated, not soaked.

✓ Add a little more product

If the cloth feels like it is dragging rather than gliding, the surface is too dry. Make sure there is enough Universal Cleaner or water on the area for the cloth to grip and move. Microfibre needs liquid to lubricate, not to soak.

Add product Lubricate, do not soak

Keeping the pile clean matters too. Fabric softener clogs the loops and kills glide. See how to wash and care for Ultra Pro Cloth.
