Generally yes on sealed marble, granite, travertine, limestone and engineered stone when used as directed. Bathroom and Shower Cleaner is mildly alkaline at pH 8 and non-abrasive, which is gentler than acidic cleaners such as vinegar, lime removers and descalers that actively etch calcium-based stone. Spot test first every time, keep dwell time short, and rinse thoroughly. Sealants and stone porosity vary, so caution always applies, and for heritage or expensive stone check the stonemason or supplier's own care instructions before you use anything on it.

Skip Bathroom and Shower Cleaner on unsealed or porous stone, on old or worn sealants, typically five years or more without re-sealing, on honed or matte finishes where any residue is visible, and on stone whose history you are not sure about. For heritage stone or expensive worktops, ask the stonemason or supplier for their approved care products. When in doubt use a dedicated stone-safe cleaner or plain water on a microfibre, and save Bathroom and Shower Cleaner for the surrounding tiles and fixtures.

Pick an inconspicuous area such as the corner of a tile, under a basin lip or the edge of a worktop. Spray Bathroom and Shower Cleaner, wait sixty seconds and no longer, rub gently with a soft microfibre, rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth. Check closely for dulling, discolouration, etching or texture change. Then check again after twenty-four hours, because some reactions appear slowly. If the test patch still looks identical to the surrounding stone after a day, you are clear to go wider.

Once you have spot tested and confirmed it is safe, spray Bathroom and Shower Cleaner onto a soft microfibre rather than directly onto the stone, wipe gently, rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry. Applying to the cloth rather than the surface keeps contact time short and stops product pooling in seams or running into unsealed edges. Never let the product dry on stone, and never leave it to dwell the way you would on tiles or glass.
