What are Scrubby Pads made from?Updated 5 days ago
TL;DR: Scrubby Pads have a dual-texture microfibre shell (91% polyester, 9% polyamide) wrapped around a soft PU-foam sponge core. The microfibre side wipes and polishes streak-free, the textured side scrubs grime without scratching, and the foam core holds liquid so you can scrub longer before re-wetting. Made in China. Not kerbside recyclable, so maximise lifespan by rinsing after use, line drying, and washing separately at up to 30 degrees with no bleach or softeners.
What are Scrubby Pads made of?
✓ Microfibre outer
91% polyester, 9% polyamide in a dual-texture weave. The microfibre side wipes and polishes streak-free, and the textured side scrubs grime without scratching surfaces. Made in China.
✓ Sponge core
Polyurethane (PU) foam. Adds absorbency, holding liquid so you can scrub longer before re-wetting. Soft enough to conform to curved surfaces like taps and handles without losing structure. The technique that suits each side is in how to use them.
Can Scrubby Pads be recycled?
⚠ Not kerbside recyclable
The mixed microfibre and PU-foam construction isn't accepted in most kerbside collections. Check specialist recyclers such as TerraCycle for mixed-material textiles, or your local council's recycling guidance for nearby drop-off points.
✓ Maximise lifespan
Rinse thoroughly after each use and line dry standing on edge. When the pad looks dull, wash it separately at up to 30 degrees with a mild detergent and no bleach or softeners. The longer each pad lasts, the less waste overall.

Dual-sided non-scratch scrub and microfibre wipe pads in a 3-pack. Built to last several months with proper care.
