Which weave should I pick: waffle or diamond Tea Towel?Updated 3 days ago
TL;DR: Pick the waffle weave for fast, heavy-duty drying and spill cleanup. Pick the diamond weave for polishing and streak-free finishes on glass and stainless steel. Both Tea Towels are the same 410 GSM microfibre and the same 60 by 40 cm size.
What is the difference between waffle and diamond weave?
✓ Waffle weave: best for drying
The waffle weave is the darker towel. Its textured surface holds more moisture, so it soaks up spills quickly. Ideal for everyday drying tasks like dishes, pans and worktops.
✓ Diamond weave: best for polishing
The diamond weave is the lighter towel. Its tighter, smoother surface gives a streak-free finish on glass, mirrors and stainless steel. Great for polishing and delicate surfaces.
How do I use them together?
The one-two method
Waffle first. Use it while everything is wet, to soak up the bulk of the moisture from dishes, pans and worktops.
Diamond to finish. Follow up on glassware, chrome and any surface where you want a spotless, streak-free result. Full technique in how to use Tea Towels.
⚠ Care reminder
Both towels are the same material and size, 410 GSM and 60 by 40 cm, so they wash the same way. Wash separately at a maximum of 40 degrees, with no fabric softener and no bleach, then line dry. Softener coats the microfibre and destroys absorbency. See washing and care.
Do I have to choose one?
✓ You get both in every pack
Each Tea Towels 2pk contains one waffle and one diamond weave, so there is no weave to choose between at checkout. Every pack covers both drying and polishing. More on the fabric in what they are made from.

One waffle, one diamond. 410 GSM microfibre, 60 by 40 cm, absorbing up to 7 times its weight and drying 4 times faster than cotton.
