How do I lock Grout Brush Pole?
Three steps to lock it
Extend. Pull the pole out to your preferred length.
Grip both sections. Hold the grey section with one hand and the green section above it with the other.
Twist opposite ways. A quarter-turn is usually enough, until you feel the internal thread tighten.
⚠ The green collar is not the lock
The small green ring under the lock and unlock sticker is a spacer, not the locking mechanism. Spinning it will not tighten the pole. Twist the pole sections themselves.
✓ The push test
Give the pole a gentle push downwards. If it does not slide, it is locked. Still slipping? Unscrew, realign the sections, then twist again until snug.
Why will my Grout Brush Pole not lock?
⚠ The thread feels stripped
Wipe dust, grit or cleaning residue off the internal metal thread with a dry cloth, then try again. Debris in the thread is the most common cause of a loose feel.
⚠ The sticker points at the collar
The lock and unlock arrow sticker sits just above the green collar to show the direction of twist. Twist the pole sections themselves, not the collar.
