How do I request a replacement Spray Mop or parts for it?Updated 3 days ago

TL;DR: Make sure your delivery address is current in your account, then send us the batch number from the underside of the mop base and clear photos or a short video of the fault. We troubleshoot first to keep a working mop out of landfill. The Spray Mop is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, and Bottle, Top, Plate and Bottom are all sold individually.

How do I request a replacement Spray Mop or parts for it?

Three things speed this up. Make sure your current delivery address is up to date in your account, find the batch number on the underside of the mop base (usually upper right, with two small clock-face dials), and send clear photos or a short video showing the fault. We will run through a few quick fixes first to isolate which part has actually failed, because most issues are solved by swapping a single component rather than the whole mop. The Spray Mop is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

Your delivery address

Check the delivery address on your account is current before you start, so a replacement or part does not go to an old address.

Update it first

The batch number

On the underside of the mop base, usually upper right, shown as two small clock-face dials.

Underside of baseTwo small dials

Photos or a short video

Show the fault clearly: a leak, a trigger that will not spray, a loose part. A short video is ideal, because we can see exactly what is happening.

Why we troubleshoot first

Most Spray Mop issues have a simple fix that keeps the mop working without a full replacement, which keeps a working product out of landfill. We will walk you through a few checks before replacing anything.

Do I need a replacement or just a spare part?

If a single component has failed you can usually fix the mop by swapping that one part rather than replacing the whole unit. Spray Mop Bottle, Spray Mop Top, Spray Mop Plate and Spray Mop Bottom are all sold individually as direct-swap spares that need no tools. The silicone cap is not sold online, so if yours is damaged or missing, get in touch and we can send you one. If the fault looks like a manufacturing defect, get in touch with your order number, the batch number and a photo or video, and we will look at it under warranty. The Spray Mop is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

What can I fix without a replacement?

Most of what we see has a simple fix. Streaks usually mean too much solution on the floor, so reduce trigger pulls and swap to a fresh dry pad. A mop that is hard to push usually means the green Deep Clean pad is adding friction on that floor, so switch to a blue Everyday pad. A stuck or leaking bottle usually traces back to the silicone cap inside the holster. A plate that has come off the pole often re-fits after a two to three minute soak in warm water.

Streaks or a mop that drags

Cut back to one trigger pull per one to two square metres and swap to a fresh dry pad. If it still drags, switch from the green Deep Clean pads to the blue Everyday Mop Pads, which glide more easily. Full guidance in How to use: Spray Mop.
