Why can’t I enter my full address at checkout?Updated an hour ago
TL;DR: A small number of customers see a 30 character limit during checkout. This limit comes from modern security and fraud-prevention rules used by payment and shipping systems. It is a known issue and we are working on a longer input allowance.
Quick ways to get your order through
- Split your address across two lines.
Line 1: house or flat + number + street
Line 2: building name, estate, village or district - Use common abbreviations to shorten words:
- Street → St, Road → Rd, Avenue → Ave, Crescent → Cres
- Apartment/Flat → Flat, Unit → Unit, Building → Bldg, Suite → Ste
- Drop punctuation and extras. Remove commas, slashes, emojis and “The ” before building names.
- Use the Company field for long building or business names when available.
- Keep the postcode precise. The postcode and town must remain unchanged for carrier validation.
We’re on it
Our team is working with our checkout and carrier partners to allow longer address lines while staying compliant with security standards.
