What temperature washes can I use Sensitive Laundry Liquid in?Updated 7 hours ago
TL;DR: Sensitive Laundry Liquid works across all common wash temperatures. Cold and warm cycles (10-40°C) get the best enzyme performance. Hot cycles up to 90°C still clean (surfactants do most of the work at high heat) but enzymes become less effective above 50°C. Always follow garment care labels.
Which wash temperatures work?
✓ Cold (10-25°C)
Great for everyday loads and saving energy. Enzymes work well in cold water, just slightly slower than warm.
✓ Warm (30-40°C)
Best enzyme performance. Ideal for mixed loads and stained clothing, sweat, food, body oils.
✓ Hot (60-90°C)
Compatible but enzymes denature above 50°C. Best reserved for hygiene loads where heat is doing the work, towels, bedding, sanitising.
✓ Good to know
✓ Always follow your garment care label for temperature guidance
✓ Hot water can set protein stains (sweat, blood, food), use cool or warm for those
✓ For delicates, use the lowest safe temperature on the care label
✓ Warm cycles get the most out of the enzyme system for everyday wash loads
